Come and help us coppice our hazel, learn how to coppice hazel in preparation for using the poles for our hedgelaying courses and as part of our hazel coppice rotational management. Learn about the hazel and its important role in the ecology of Boundary Brook. Tools will be provided, wear protective clothes and boots. Learn how to make coppice stool protection to protect the newly cut hazel from damage by browsing deer.
Please come and help us with this important aspect of the seasonal work on the nature reserve.
